Football is being used as a vehicle in order to expre s some hateful, ignorant and horrific ideals and values.In the build up to Euro 2012 this i sue reared its ugly head and people were forced to take notice of the growing problems. Im not sure I would carry on in those conditions and well done to the England players for carrying themselves with dignity and maturity beyond their years for the way they reacted throughout the whole debate. After the game, when fans invaded the pitch, I expected both teams to unite against the reckle s stupidity of those fans, but this was not the case. Serbian players and coaching staff were as much of a disgrace as those fans. The way they hara sed and attacked the English players and staff was inexcusable and warrants a ban FIFA, ignoring anything done by the fans. I have never been more infuriated at watching a television screen as I was that night and Ive taken time to collect my thoughts before sharing them in this blog. FIFA must be strong. Blatter must finally do something of use, rather than remain the laughing stock he has become and he must be backed up with UEFA continuing any sanctions in future at both club and international level.
