An online store in the broadly understood e-commerce industry can be promoted in various ways - through positioning (SEO), Google Ads sponsored link campaigns or social media marketing . Beginner entrepreneurs often have basic information about online advertising , but they do not know which e-commerce platform to choose to have a chance to "overtake" the competition and effectively implement promotional activities.
According to a reliable list by Similartech, the most popular e-commerce platform in the world is mobile number list currently WooCommerce. It is an absolute leader, because there are over a million websites based on WooCommerce. The second technology in the ranking is Shopify , while the podium begins with Squarespace Commerce, i.e. the platform on which, among others, Paypal is based.
As we can see in the above list - OpenCart, WiXeCommerce, PrestaShop and Magento are also very popular and we will also talk about them. However, we believe that it is worth taking a closer look at the platforms, i.e. Shoper and X-Cart. The latter (X-Cart) is slightly less popular in Poland than the other proposals presented today, but in our opinion it should also be considered in terms of potential e-commerce technologies.
