The are still in a rebuild, but their future is incredibly bright. They have an array of exciting prospects with the potential to become high-impact players for them in the future. Furthermore, he would be far more than just a rental for the Blackhawks if acquired, as he has a $7.75 million cap hit until the end of the 2030-31 season. This is because the 29-year-old winger not only makes an impact offensively but is also known for his great leadership. Therefore, he would be a good veteran for a team on the rise like Chicago. With Tuch being the NHLs top pending unrestricted free agent, there is no question that the Blackhawks . However, given his strong all-around play, he could be a perfect fit in Chicago. MORE : Alexis Lafreniere, LW/RW, New York Rangers With the Rangers in the middle of a retool, Alexis Lafreniere will be a trade candidate to watch this summer. The 2020 first-overall pick was the subject of trade rumors leading up to the deadline, and it is fair to wonder if the Rangers could listen to offers for him during the summer. If they do, the Blackhawks would be wise to call. With Lafreniere being 24 years old and signed until the end of the 2031-32 season, he would have the potential to be a long-term part of Chicagos core if acquired.
