After the three days of inauguration, Motilla is already celebrating the Festivities in Honor of San Gil Abad, and there are still five whole days of activities that Motillans and Motillanas will enjoy until the end.
After the coronation of the Queen and Ladies, the opening parade of the Fair, and the first Holy Mass and procession in Honor of San Gil Abad, Motilla del Palancar immerses itself in five days of festivities that bring its neighbors endless activities with which adults and children will enjoy.

The real Festival began on the 30th with the coronation of the Ireland Email List court of Honor that will represent Motilla in its Festivals and the opening of the Fair on the night of August 31, but on September 1 the first Mass and Procession was celebrated. which was attended by the vice president of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, José Luis Martínez Guijarro, accompanied by the mayor of the town, Jesús Martínez, and the deputy mayor, Pedro Javier Tendero, as well as by other members of the municipal corporation, in addition of mayors of neighboring municipalities of La Manchuela, Cuenca.

During the event, Martínez Guijarro, who participated in the parade, mass and subsequent procession of the image of the saint through the main streets of the town, took the opportunity to congratulate all the Motillanos and Motillanas on these endearing days, in which they also The municipality welcomes hundreds of visitors.






On day 2, Motillans will be able to participate in the Jornada Manchega, which will be enlivened by jotas and a tasting of the wines of the Inmaculada Concepción Cooperative, in addition to the II Traditional Pastry Contest, the large children's bottle for children and, of course, the large Popular festival with the Havana orchestra.

Table tennis championship, gastronomic contests, theaters, monologues, cycling, soccer, giant paella, variety magazine... Many activities that will be waiting for the Motillanos until September 6, the day on which the local celebrations will conclude with spanking and cupcakes at the afternoon festival.
